Japanese function
Section titled “Japanese function”Marishiten became particularly associated with warriors/archers and protection. A surviving votive/archery object places Marishiten beside Tokugawa Ieyasu and seed syllables for Aizen and Amida, demonstrating practical syncretic protective use.
