What the object is
Section titled “What the object is”This is not a polished doctrinal treatise. It is a miscellany of practical divination and calendrical knowledge, apparently accumulated and copied for working use.

Manuscript history
Section titled “Manuscript history”The earlier section’s colophon states that a monk named Jōchi/Teichi of Gokurakuji in Hashio, Yamato copied material in 1503. The reverse side reused documents associated with the Rokkaku lords of southern Ōmi.
Research importance
Section titled “Research importance”This proves that local/regional Onmyōdō knowledge circulated through portable notebooks assembled from heterogeneous sources, not only through formal court manuals.
