The post-code commentary says ritual officers/priests who perform successful religious instruction can accumulate merit, and that merit and fault may offset one another.
It urges wrongdoers to:
- reform past behavior;
- cultivate future conduct;
- focus on nourishing life;
- practice loyalty/filiality and moral correction.
Interpretation
