Functions claimed in the scripture

The text associates the vidyāmantra with protection from illness, poisoning, hostile grahas, spirits, danger, enemies, cemeteries and imprisonment, and describes wearing as well as reciting it.

3. Direct the intention toward protection and removal of danger.
4. Where studying the wearing practice, copy the text using archival/safe materials.
5. Carry/wear only in a way compatible with the living tradition and respectful treatment of sacred writing.
