“Five nectars” is not one universal recipe. Different tantric corpora and commentaries classify sacramental substances differently.

- tantra;
- Sanskrit/Tibetan term;
- commentary;
- date;
- whether substances are literal, substituted, visualized or consecrated.
The Kangyur itself preserves an “Eight Great Sections” corpus centered on the five amṛtas, demonstrating that this is a substantial textual complex rather than a single occult recipe.
